How it works

First you will answer a survey, and then install an app on your phone to share anonymous data about your smartphone activity.

When you register, you’ll earn Ksh 400 airtime and then another Ksh 250 airtime for every week you share data (sent on Fridays).

This study is planned to run for 3 months.

Sharing data

All information that you share will be anonymized and used for research purposes only, and your name will never be mentioned or associated with any data.

Stop sharing

You can stop sharing data at any time. In the app, you can temporarily stop sharing data on the Status page by changing the toggle to “Paused.” And you can permanently withdraw from the panel simply by uninstalling the app.

Data usage

This app won’t use up your data! It’s only 2 MB to download, and typically uses less than 1 MB per month.
